This year the music industry also suffered many losses one of which making news worldwide. Micheal Jackson, also known as The King of Pop, died at the age of 50 of cardiac arrest. This single event shook the world and will be the biggest memory of music history in 2009. Other Artists have left the music scene this year too. Cute is What We Aim For, Danity Kane, Oasis, and countless others have broken up. On hiatus you can find The Foo Fighters, Pussycat Dolls, System of a Down, and Yellowcard.

However, 2010 is looking to be a bright year in music. You can expect new releases from Aerosmith, Amy Winehouse, Blink 182, Christina Aguilera, Dr. Dre, Diddy, Evanescence, Gorillaz, Michelle Branch, Red Hot chili Pepper, The Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, TLC, Tommy Lee, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, and many more. 2010 will also be a year free of Fall Out Boy as the are to be on hiatus.

Will next year also be marked with a great loss? Will Kanye West make a fool out of himself yet again? Who will be the next Lady Gaga? Will there be a new Disney pop star? Only time will tell.
