11/4/09 CDS: Police are investigating a CDS incident involving a student on the 4th floor of Edgewood Commons. A clear plastic tube containing a white powdery substance was found in the apartment after a police search was conducted. Substance was forwarded to the MSP lab for testing. Investigation continuing with criminal charges to be filed pending outcome of laboratory testing.
11/5/09 Request for Officer: Frederick Hall student reported he found a white powdery substance in his room. Officers field tested the substance for narcotics with negative results.
11/6/09 Suspicious: Student reported a male driver in a Subaru following her. Officers searched the campus area for the vehicle but were unable to locate it.
11/6/09 Paper Service: Assault charges were obtained for a third floor Frederick Hall student. Charges are from a November 4th incident that occurred at Frederick Hall.
11/07/09 Attempt to Locate: Frostburg City Police requested our agency be on the look-out for a Maroon SUV driven by a male subject. Suspect wanted for a destruction of property incident that occurred at the Frostburg Library on Main Street.
11/6/09 Attempt to Locate: Simpson Hall student reported she was visited by her friend who was making suicidal comments. According to the witness, a friend from Prince George's County visited her today and told her he had stolen the vehicle he was driving and had a DUI the night before and is now suicidal. The witness then advised the suspect fled the area in the stolen vehicle. Investigating Officer confirmed the stolen vehicle notification issued by the Prince Georges County Police Department. Patrol checks of the campus were performed with negative results of the suspect or vehicle. Allied police agencies were notified to be on the look- out for the stolen vehicle.
11/7/09 Alcohol Violation: Police were notified of an intoxicated student at Simpson Hall. Upon arrival Officers met with the suspect who admitted to drinking off-campus. Student was charged with underage possession of alcohol and referred to the Judicial Board.
