Christmas is just weeks away and the question on everybody's mind is, "What did you get me?" Or maybe this is not what everybody is thinking about, however if you're in a relationship your boyfriend or girlfriend might be! As Christmas gets closer they most definitely will be wondering. This question may even come up in your next conversation with him or her. What will or would Frostburg students get their mates? How well do the student's choices of gifts match what girls and guys really want?

The Ladies
The Ladies were pretty prepared. They did not even have to think or guess. They knew exactly what their boyfriends or guy friends would want.

Shardae Young, a sophomore said, "Well I know my man likes cologne or I would get him a video game, or some clothes and some shoes."

Brittany Palmer, a sophomore said, " I"ll get him some clothes."

The Guys
The guys were not as confident. It seems like they would have to ask their ladies first. because they were not so sure. However, they did come up with some interesting choices!
Bassel Field, a senior, said, "It depends on what she wanted. Maybe some perfume, a teddy bear, a jacket. It depends. Maybe some chocolate."
Devin Hall, a junior said, " I don't know. I would probably get a purse, or some jewelry, maybe a necklace."
Donnie Kus, a sophomore said, "I would get her some snack packs. I would get her some clothes that she wanted if she asked in advance. I would get her something that I would benefit from too."

How well did they do? Are the guy's good gift shoppers and do the ladies really know what their men want?
Well when asked what they would expect from their mates, This is what they came up with.
Palmer said, " I would ask for come clothes and like a watch."
Hall said," I would want her to get me an outfit and some shoes or something."
There you have it. The guys and the girls know each other well. Some guys said they will be getting or would get their ladies some jewelry and clothes and that's what some girls want. The guys said they would want shoes and clothes and some of the girls said that as well. Seems like there will be some very happy couples this Christmas. However, one student said that a purchased gift would not really make them happy. The best gift would just be being with their mate.
Anonymous said, " Well I don't really care if they get me something or not. I think spending time with them is enough."
They could not have said it better. Christmas is about spending time with your loved ones. Gifts don't show how much you care about someone their just material. Someone once said, "The best things in life are free." Therefore, spending a little extra time with your mate holds a lot more value than any gift that is brought from a store.
